Academic Integrity Event 2025
As part of Academic Integrity Week at our school, we held a comprehensive and interactive event with our high school students on 26 November. Students explored the concept of academic integrity from multiple angles at stations examining topics such as ‘Quotation or Plagiarism?’, ‘Types of Plagiarism’, ‘Dos and Don’ts’, ‘Common Misconceptions’, and ‘Famous Plagiarism Cases from History’.
Each station took the form of a practical mini-workshop where students gained awareness and learned through discussion using examples. At the end of the event, the students decorated the ‘Academic Integrity Tree’ with their own words, awareness notes, and messages of good practice, creating a powerful collective message about the meaning and importance of the day.
This meaningful event was an important step towards fostering academic integrity as a school culture.
