Our MUN Club Students Accomplished Their Mission in the online Model United Nations Conference

Many conferences, meeting and events have been cancelled because of the corona virus outbreak. However, there are still so many issues which need to be discussed and someone needs talk about these issues and find solutions. Our Mun club students are aware of this fact and continue their efforts.

Our students participated in NAMUN2020, an online model United Nations conference. They took part in committees such as UNICEF, NATO, UNEP and UNCSTD, and shared their solutions for various global issues like “nuclear energy,” “Covid-19 pandemics,” “early and forced child marriages” and “freedom of speech” assuming the roles of diplomats of their allocated countries. We congratulate our students for their devotion.

European Language Day 2020

European Language Day is an annual event celebrated on the 26th of September around Europe. As the English Department of ALKEV High School, we organized a ‘creative web poster design’ event even from a far distance in order to appreciate and emphasize the importance of learning foreign languages.
