MEV Junior Model United Nations 2025
Between April 25–27, 2025, ALKEV Private Primary School 4th grade students successfully represented Finland, Italy, Indonesia, Canada, Thailand, Estonia, and Serbia as delegates at the MEVMUN (MEV Junior Model United Nations) conference, participating in the UNESCO (United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization) and WHO (World Health Organization) committees.
By taking part in this international event, our students not only had the opportunity to develop themselves but also strengthened their global perspective by meeting peers from different cultures. In Model United Nations (MUN) conferences, being a “delegate” means representing a country, proposing solutions to world issues, and engaging in the exchange of ideas through diplomatic skills.
ALKEV students successfully reflected the viewpoints of the countries they represented, applying their critical thinking, problem-solving, and effective communication skills, while also using their English reading, writing, listening, and speaking abilities in a real-world platform.
The success of ALKEV students at MEVMUN marks an important step on their journey to becoming individuals who will have a voice on international platforms in the future. Events like MUN conferences greatly contribute to the growth of young people into sensitive, solution-oriented, and open-minded leaders who are aware of global issues. We wholeheartedly congratulate all our students and mentor teachers for this outstanding achievement and proudly affirm our unwavering support as they take bold steps towards new horizons!
