ALKEV High School IB Diploma Programme 11th Grade Students’ Theory of Knowledge (TOK) Exhibition
The Theory of Knowledge (TOK) course focuses on the nature of knowledge, encouraging students to reflect on fundamental questions such as ‘What do we know?’, ‘How do we know what we know?’ and ‘For what purposes should we use this knowledge?’. The aim is for students to develop into inquisitive, critical thinkers and conscious learners throughout this process.
Our students began by selecting a topic that interested them from the range of knowledge questions provided by the IB. They then linked this abstract question to their own experiences and made it concrete by focusing on three objects of their choice, preparing presentations in English. Each piece of work presented unique examples reflecting our students’ diverse perspectives, inquiry skills and approaches to knowledge.
We congratulate all our students who completed this process with dedication, as well as the teachers who guided them, and thank them for their contributions.
